RBS’ Impact: June

44 of RBS’ students changed their professional future and were placed in June in companies such as Versace, Maserati, Hilton, Accenture.

This Blog news explains the results of the Career Services and Entrepreneurship activity carried out during the month of June. In total, 44 of our students were placed. Moreover, our students this month had the opportunities to take part to:

  • 3 Company Meeting: Luisa Via Roma, Rocco Forte Hotels, Adecco
  • 1 Virtual Look & Touch Company visits:  Silk EV
  • 3 Guest lecture: Oracle, EurIintellingece, Brunswick Group
  • 1 Soft skills lecture: Essity

The Career Services help RBS Students to be ready to enter the job market, developing the right knowledge, providing the market insights and tools that they need to pursue a successful career in a specific industry. With the support of the Career Service the student can define the career path, develop a strategy, hone the self presentation skills, and sharpen the CV. Moreover, through the Career Services students have access to exclusive tools including a job portal, expert mentoring, consulting training, career targeting, and presence optimization. It provides everything the student needs to fulfil the aspirations, helping to make the most of the knowledge and capabilities of each of them. Now thanks to RBS partners and the Career Services, 44 of our students have the opportunities to continue develop their skills, to put competences in practice and the possibility to growth professionally in companies such as: Maserati, Hilton, Boggi, Versace, Accenture, Saint Laurent, Rinascente, Camera di Commercio, Erbert.

Itziar Almengol, now in Disneyland Paris working in Customer Service

Itziar A., from the Specialized Master in Tourism and Hospitality Management, talks about her experience with RBS and how was important for her getting inspirations and be involved in meetings with Managers and companies along her learning journey.

One of the most important competencies that I have acquired during my experience in RBS is to be able to really discover what there is behind the theory, to truly comprehend how business work, from real Managers and professionals who really love their work, are passionate and want to transmit their passion to the new generations. I believe that today is key to know very well the market and the sector in which we operate, the competitors, to be able to offer a unique and unmatched experience to our clients.

I decided to join the RBS family because already from the start I knew it would have opened me many doors to the job market. Giving me the opportunity to participate in meetings with companies operating all over the world, organizing fairs with HR representatives that could have been interested in my profile, etc.

I currently work at Disneyland Paris, a large company where I will continue to grow both personally and professionally. My professional objective now is to apply my knowledge and grow in my career”.
