From Idea to Next Level: How Rome Business School's New Startup Booster Works

You have an idea, a project, or a startup. Now you want to take it to the next level.

The new Startup Booster at Rome Business School is designed to help you do just that. This five-month international startup accelerator helps high-potential startups turn a product in development into a business ready to grow, enter new markets, and scale internationally.

Because a great idea is only the beginning. The real challenge is knowing how to make it grow.

More Than an Idea: It’s Time to Grow

The Startup Booster starts with what you have already built.

The program is designed for startups with an MVP, beta version, demo, or testable product. It helps founders take the next step. You will work on positioning, market traction, business growth, and investor readiness.

During the five-month program, participants focus on the key areas that can turn a project into a scalable business:

  • Business model and go-to-market:Define your positioning and build a clear strategy to enter the market.
  • Sales, marketing and finance:Develop strategies to acquire customers, create value, and support sustainable growth.
  • Fundraising:Learn how to present your startup to investors. Build a strong pitch deck and a solid financial plan.
  • Leadership and team building:Strengthen the skills you need to lead a team and manage growth.
  • International growth:Explore new markets and build partnerships through a global network.

More Than a Program: A Community to Grow With

The value of the Startup Booster goes beyond the content.

It comes from the people you meet and the opportunities you create along the way.

Mentors, faculty members, alumni, founders, professionals, and corporate partners can help you test ideas, sharpen your strategy, and turn challenges into opportunities.

The Rome Business School network also connects startups with talent from its international master’s programs. This can help growing startups find new skills and strengthen their teams.

Think Global from Day One

Building a startup today means thinking beyond your home market.

That is why international growth plays a key role in the Startup Booster. Participants can build new connections, explore new markets, and discover potential partnerships within a global ecosystem.

The goal is simple: give founders the tools and connections they need to understand where their startup can go and how to take it further.

And Then? It’s Demo Day

After five months of work, it’s time to take the stage.

The Demo Day gives participants the opportunity to present their startups to investors, business angels, venture capitalists, corporate leaders, and other key players in the startup ecosystem.

But Demo Day is not where the journey starts.

It is the result of everything that happens before: testing ideas, refining strategies, building connections, and taking each project to the next level.
