From March 18th to 22nd, 2024, Rome Business School hosted a delegation of 16 students from the Master’s in Fashion & Retail Management at EAE Business School in Barcelona.
The synergy between the Rome Business School and another of Grupo Planeta de Agostini’s most important business schools, has been consolidated over time also thanks to the Barcelona Bootcamp held in collaboration with EAE Business School itself and a fundamental part of the value proposition of the Rome Business School’s Masters.
This year for the first time, it was precisely the Italian school that hosted a group of students from Spain to carry out a module of their Master’s degree in Fashion & Retail Management.
The lectures focused on Made in Italy, Digital trends, Sustainable Fashion, Italian design, Intercultural dimensions, held by Program Directors, highly qualified lecturers and experts in the field such as; Michela Bonafoni, Francesca Bracci, Umberto Macchi and Giorgia Feroldi from Vogue Italia.
To make the experience even more complete, during the week the students had to work on presenting their own business project based on the challenge that was presented on the first day by FENDI itself.
Not only lectures. In fact, students were also engaged with company visits and cultural experiences. They had the opportunity to visit the headquarters of FENDI, Dolce & Gabbana and Bulgari, being able to confront themselves with managers and experts from the world of Fashion and Retail.
Finally, to also combine the cultural aspect and to give students a way to immerse themselves in Italy 100 percent, there were also team-building activities such as a typical cooking class and a guided tour of the Eternal City.
By organizing this study tour for EAE Business School, Rome Business School further solidified its collaboration with a respected partner while paving the way for future exchanges and initiatives.
Having been able to organize a study tour for EAE Business School allowed us to consolidate even more a collaboration that has been going on for years and gave us the opportunity to explore new forms of exchange between two leading institutions in management education.
We are confident that this was just the first of many study tours that we could organize in collaboration with EAE.
