  • ASFOR, the most authoritative accreditation body in the Italian Higher Education sector, has renewed the ASFOR accreditation for the International MBA and the International Master in HR and Organisation, for 5 years, meeting the requirements.
  • The body examined various aspects including the design of the Masters, qualifications and quality of lecturers, student support services, and the impact of the Career Center.
  • The reaccreditation confirms the value of the programmes for their robustness in terms of content, structure and teaching methodology. It also underlines the strong link with the world of work, thanks to collaborations with companies such as Microsoft, Deloitte and IBM.
  • To date, there are three RBS Masters programmes accredited by ASFOR.

Rome Business School’s International MBA and International Master in HR and Organisation reconfirm ASFOR accreditation. The Italian Training Association, the most important reference body in Italy for evaluating excellence in post-graduate and executive education, has recertified the adherence of the two Masters to the most rigorous international standards.

This assessment, carried out by the Board of Governors, the Accreditation Commission and the ASFOR Review Group, examined various aspects, including curriculum design, teacher qualifications, student support services and institutional resources. The renewal of these accreditations in fact demonstrates that the analysed standards have been maintained and exceeded with regard to: the admission procedure, the teaching pathway, the teaching staff and programme director, the students’ personal development and career guidance service, the structure and organisational aspects, the quality assessment system, as well as the economic and financial sustainability of the Master’s programme and the institution itself. Accreditation therefore validates the programmes’ ability to provide a high quality educational experience and demonstrates continuous growth and innovation.

According to the evaluation obtained, the MBA particularly stands out for its international dimension, its connection with the corporate network, the structure of the student’s strategic growth plan, and the professionalism of the faculty. Also positively noted was the inclusion of new content areas with courses such as Global Economy and Business Trends, Strategy for Business Leaders, and the enhancement of practical activities proposed to students such as Company Visits and business cases, also highly appreciated by the students and alumni interviewed. MBA management was considered crucial, from planning to monitoring delivery and supporting students throughout their experience at Rome Business School. Finally, career support activities were described as well-structured and a source of satisfaction for the alumni interviewed.

Of the International Master in HR and Organisation, the practical orientation and in particular the final Capstone Project, which allows students to put the knowledge they have learnt into practice, was judged excellent. In addition, the focus on issues such as Diversity and Inclusion and Sustainability were assessed as being well developed and articulated through a variety of activities and meetings, offered through relevant RBS partners such as FAO, MSF, WFP. Much appreciated was the opportunity given to students to carry out experiences abroad, such as the International Bootcamp, 12 destinations offered, including Paris, China, Silicon Valley, Doha, London, Lagos.

Indeed, ASFOR highlighted the international context in which RBS operates, the fact that it is among the most international business schools in Italy (with 61% of students coming from foreign countries), its membership of Grupo Planeta, RBS’s network of international partner companies, and its 15 partnerships with educational institutions based around the world. The institution also emphasised the continuous development and growth of RBS, which can also be seen in the adoption of replicable organisational procedures, reflected both in the management of various programmes and in the standardisation of the institution’s activities, which are constantly evolving.

For Domitilla Sartorio, Accreditation and Certification Manager of Rome Business School, ‘Being recognised again by ASFOR is a source of great pride for Rome Business School.
