Rome Business School brings three Made in Italy cases to the world

Faculty to meet 50 universities across 7 countries and Alumni Chapter creation
  • Rome Business School exports its educational model to 7 countries. This 11,870 km journey crosses key cities in the Mediterranean, Asia, and the Middle East: Dubai, Cairo, Istanbul, Ankara, Tirana, Sofia, Mumbai, Athens, and Thessaloniki.
  • The tour features an intensive week at each stop, with over 120 total sessions. These include open lessons and meetings with universities, institutions, and alumni to share excellence case studies: Armani, Ferrari, and EssilorLuxottica.
  • In each country we will also meet our Alumni and establish a local Alumni Chapter

From January 24th to March 28th, Rome Business School will bring its faculty to nine cities across seven countries. The goal is to share Made in Italy case studies with over 50 universities, involving more than 2,400 people including students, institutions, and local businesses.

RBS will export an educational model that combines academic depth, innovation, and contemporary managerial culture. The tour will visit dynamic cities such as Dubai, Cairo, Istanbul, Ankara, Tirana, Sofia, Mumbai, Athens, and Thessaloniki. At each stop, the Business School will lead an intensive week of academic, institutional, and cultural activities. The program includes university sessions, open lessons on Made in Italy excellence, networking with alumni, and local institutional meetings.

The project follows a standard format: five days of full immersion led by Rome Business School faculty and visiting professors. Over 120 sessions are planned throughout the tour, with an expected participation of more than 2,400 students and professionals.

Italian Excellence and International Networking

Rome Business School extends its international vision starting from Dubai, from January 19th to 24th. This city is one of the most dynamic global hubs for innovation. During this week, RBS will meet ten major universities based in the emirate. These include the British University in Dubai, the Canadian University in Dubai, the University of Europe for Applied Sciences, and the American University in Dubai (AUD).

Furthermore, the school will present case studies dedicated to Italian excellence. These range from the total luxury experience of the Armani Hotel Dubai to Ferrari’s transformation into an ecosystem of mobility, tourism, and culture. Finally, the sessions will cover the integrated model of EssilorLuxottica.

The delegation is led by Dean Antonio Ragusa, alongside Eleonora Mantovani and Giuditta Calandro from the International Department, and Umberto Macchi di Cellere. A group of RBS alumni based in the Emirates will also join the delegation to provide professional testimonies. The week will conclude with a networking event at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Al Jadaf. This event offers an opportunity to deepen the initiative’s value, share knowledge, and create new connections between Italy and the United Arab Emirates.

An International Business School Growing with the World

The project’s value is backed by data positioning Rome Business School as the most international business school in Italy. It hosts students from over 136 countries and a network of 1,403 employability partners. Moreover, its educational offer is recognized by major international rankings, including QS World University Rankings, Eduniversal, and Times Higher Education. In fact, 11 rankings recognize RBS for excellent performance in factors such as graduate outcomes, internationalization, and return on investment.

RBS is also part of the Planeta Formación y Universidades network. This international educational ecosystem includes 22 institutions and trains 150,000 students annually across five continents. The network shares a commitment to developing university, executive, and professional education worldwide.

This strategic initiative combines education, academic diplomacy, and cultural vision. By increasing its presence in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, Rome Business School intends to strengthen its role as an international partner. It promotes a management culture that integrates impact, sustainability, and the ability to interpret global changes.

“With this project, Rome Business School brings Made in Italy excellence to the world. We are transforming iconic cases like Armani, Ferrari, and EssilorLuxottica into tools for academic and cultural dialogue,” comments Antonio Ragusa, Dean of Rome Business School. “Our goal is not just to share business models, but to promote a vision of management capable of innovating and generating global impact starting from Italian identity.”
