Global Master in Data Science & Business Analytics Overview

The Global Master in Data Science & Business Analytics has a multidisciplinary approach encompassing scientific notions and methodologies. During the program you’ll work closely with the latest and most advanced technologies for Data Science (Jupyter, Apache Hadoop, MonoDB, Tableau, MS Power BI and more). In addition to this, the program will provide you the tools to gain effective presentation and communication, agile project management, and risk management decision making skills to ensure your competence as a data-driven leader.

Participate in a RBS Hackathon

36 hours to work on a challenge by exploring real world datasets. A great opportunity, though a competition among students’ teams, to gain experience on new technologies and acquire new skills with Mongo DB​.

    Global Master in Data Science & Business Analytics

    During the Master’s courses, students will have the opportunity to practice with various programming languages and software tools, including R, Python, Jupyter Notebook, and Google Colab. They will also delve into major data storage and processing architectures, such as those based on Apache, and explore innovative Data Mesh concepts within the Elasticsearch stack. The curriculum will equip them with knowledge and skills in cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, including Neural Networks and modern AI, such as ChatGPT. Students will engage in hands-on labs covering tasks like data connection, exploration, analysis, and presentation. Additionally, they will participate in a 36-hour Hackathon, working on real-world challenges with actual datasets.

    During the first module of the Master in Data Science for Managers, students will learn how to:

    Over 25 years of experience in digital transformation and cloud computing

    Silvia Bellucci blends academic leadership with over 25 years of experience in digital transformation and cloud computing. Currently a Customer Engineer at Google, she collaborates with government agencies and educational institutions across Italy, translating complex needs into innovative technical solutions.​

    Previously at IBM, Silvia served as Senior Cloud Technical Sales Manager, leading teams of cloud architects and driving significant revenue growth.

    She has extensive experience in public cloud sales, project management, and developing solutions in Cloud, Cognitive, and Analytics technologies.

    Silvia is a  recognized speaker on Digital Transformation and Sustainability, Silvia has received accolades such as the Google Cloud Club 2024 Winner and the EMEA Manager Awards – IBM Fast Start 2021.​

    Holding a degree in Physics from Sapienza University of Rome, she has also completed advanced training at SDA Bocconi. An active member of the Confindustria Roma youth board, Silvia is passionate about supporting young professionals in the tech industry.

    Carmine Buono Senior Technical Manager / Solution Architect at SFERANET

    Carmine Buono is an IT Manager and Principal Solution Architect with over 25 years of experience across multiple Information Technology disciplines. He currently works at Olidata SpA, leading complex projects in AI, Machine Learning, and cybersecurity for clients including the Italian Banking Group and the Bank of Italy. His career includes senior roles at Integris SpA and CRISMA srl, delivering projects for Terna, TIM, and Poste Italiane. A lecturer at Rome Business School in Data Science, AI, and Big Data, he holds a degree in Computer Engineering, a Master's in GIS, and a PMP® certification.

    RAFFAELE MIELE
    Raffaele Miele Program Director of the Online Master in AI

    Chief AI Scientist at TopView S.r.l. and an expert in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science with over 10 years of experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Naples Federico II, where he also serves as a lecturer. Formerly Head of Data Science at Crisma, he has led AI projects in Finance and Cybersecurity. Since 2024, he has been the Program Director of the Master in Artificial Intelligence at Rome Business School.

    Bruno Gallozzi Trainer and in the Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing sector

    Bruno has over 30 years of experience as a Trainer and in the Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing sector. He began as Project Manager at Spatari Informatica Srl, responsible for analysis and management of the management procedure development team. He was then Microsoft Trainer at Altin Srl, Trainer at Telecom Italia, Business Objects Trainer at SAP. For almost 20 years he worked at Jakin SRL, covering the roles of CTO, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing Expert, GDPR, Big Data and CIO, Strategies, Research and Development.     Giacomo Scettri is a data science and machine learning trainer with over 1,000 hours of corporate training delivered for companies such as Codemotion, TIM, and Manpower. An adjunct professor at Campus Bio-Medico University in Rome, he holds a Master's in History and Teaching of Physics from Bologna, a Master's in Physics of Complex Systems from IFISC in Palma de Mallorca, and a degree in Physics from La Sapienza. He is also the founder of "Dopolavoro matematico", a movement dedicated to making mathematics accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

    Alberto Bedodi is an experienced data and analytics professional with over 14 years of expertise in business intelligence, data science, and enterprise software solutions. He currently serves as a Lead Solution Engineer at Tableau, a Salesforce company, where he supports corporate clients in leveraging data visualization and analytics technologies for strategic decision-making. Mr. Bedodi earned his Master's Degree in Mathematics from the Università degli Studi di Roma Tre in 2010 and completed specialized training at the IBM Global Sales School in 2013. His professional career includes numerous technical presentations and client workshops on analytics, artificial intelligence, and cloud-based data solutions. He is President and Co-Founder of the Internet Governance Forum Italia and has held senior institutional roles including Undersecretary of State for Public Administration and Special Adviser to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. The candidate’s academic history, previous experiences in the topics covered in the Master and motivation will be matters of the evaluation. Once it’s sent, the application will be evaluated by the Rome Business School’s academic committee. In order to ensure the application’s suitability, it is important to deliver all of the required documentation.

    Payment of the participation fee of € 14,500 can be made in the following ways:
