An Exciting Start For The New students at Rome Business School

During the week of April 15-20, Rome Business School welcomed all the new students! It was a week of inspiring experiences, meetings with Companies, Faculty, Program coordinators shared with class colleagues from around the world, with a final event at Parco Dei Principi, an amazing location to get even more inspirations from guests and RBS Alumni!

As part of their welcome to Rome Business School, all students had the opportunity to hear from top managers, who shared their inspiring stories, telling of failures and successes and everything in between. Meetings such as these have been the Rome Business School’s way of strongly reaffirming its commitment to learning-by-doing, linking academia to the needs and new trends in the world of work, designing courses that are the result of an ongoing dialogue with management realities from around the world.

The Career Center Sessions

At the Welcome Week, students had the chance to learn about the various educational and non-educational opportunities made available by the school. Many the sessions specific on the Career Center, presenting all the activities, and providing advices and tips in order kick off any professional career. The Career Centre proposes different pathways which the students can embark on:

  • the Career Starter, dedicated to those who want to excel in their first work experiences;
  • the Career Mover, for students seeking international employment;
  • the Career Advancer for those who want to grow vertically;
  • and the Career Propeller dedicated to MBA students, to scale the world of entrepreneurship or pursue vertical career progression.

And students during the Welcome Week also discovered some of the various activities were is possible to participate to, as for example:

  • Employability Workshops: Gain in-depth knowledge of the employment world through a series of workshops led by HR professionals from top recruiting companies. Moreover learn more about specific reference markets, analyzed on both national and international scale, discover who the leading companies are and the specific skillsets they are looking for when hiring, with an analysis on high demand professional outlets within employment, freelance and entrepreneurial scenarios.
  • Individual Career Counseling Meetings:​Our Career Services counselors will meet you personally to understand your interests, skills, values and personality with the aim of identifying which path best suits your aspirations in terms of future career development. ​
  • Company Meetings:Listen and interact with representatives from some of the biggest companies, talking about their business and explaining their mission, vision and work cultures, and sharing the available job opportunities.
  • Access the Career Portal​: on the online platform you can find all the latest national and international job opportunities. You can post job alerts, read relevant news, and update your personal profile to make your information accessible to recruiting companies.

Finally, the Welcome Week went through a series of informational sessions and direct engagement with new students through:

  • Leaders Of Tomorrow: The Leaders of Tomorrow session was just a little window on what you will be learning and exploring during your future educational path.
  • Master Kick Off: Introductory session during which the program director presents the master’s degree objectives, content, value, career outlets, industry, and industry trends. Students were introduced to their learning path, met teachers, and understood the main point of your educational journey.
  • Meet The Academic Team: Students met the Academic Team all along the week. In fact lecturers are select international academics and disruptive executives working in the field for leading national and international companies, bringing their emerging insights from real business cases.

A Welcome Week Made of Connections

The Rome Business School Welcome Week 2024 was the incubation of knowledge, inspiration and motivation for new students to meet their future colleagues and make new connections, at the final event, consisting of speakers and guests as well as a final Welcome Aperitif. This last event, thanks to the sharing of experience and knowledge from Alumni, Marco Bertolini Coaching session, the Academic Director Massimo Scarcello and the Dean was the  right occasion to meet up all together and kick of at best any Master experience.
