Rome Business School's teacher appointed as president of GFAR

Already vice president of the mechanism, Raffaele Maiorano was promoted to the highest rank of the world-renowned global forum on agricultural research and innovation promo.

Rome Business School is proud and happy to announce that its Supervisor for the Master in Agribusiness Management has been appointed as President of the Global Forum on Agricultural Research and Innovation (GFAR).

Springing directly from FAO, GFAR was founded in 1996, and it is responsible for bringing together all the entities dealing with agricultural development and its future in the world. The forum addresses key points and needs of the global communities; its mission also comprehends facilitating cooperation and dialogue of world organizations and representatives to pursue and achieve innovation, development, and a positive change in agriculture and food production.

Born in 1982, Raffaele Maiorano graduated in Economics and Finance at the LUISS Guido Carli University and worked as a journalist specialized in Communications and Media. He was President of Anga Crotone and Anga Calabria and, in addition to being the Supervisor of our Master in Agribusiness Management, he also teaches Communications at Gambero Rosso.
