The Rome Business School students visit the Caprai Winery

On the 4th of December 2017, the Rome Business School students had the fantastic opportunity to visit the Caprai Winery—one of the famous wineries of Montefalco.

The Caprai Winery is one of the few to boast a complete production chain, from the selection of clones to the bottling stage. For this reason, it pays great attention to product quality assurance, which is based on planning all activities to ensure that its products meet the requirements. Its goal today is the same as thirty years ago—careful and constant work aimed at excellence, research, and innovation in the agronomic and oenological sector, communicating the culture and identity of the region.

Our students had the chance to visit the winery and the vineyard, to attend a presentation of the company, and to enjoy a wine tasting with snacks. During the presentation, the students learned about the history, business strategies, and barriers that the Caprai Winery faced before reaching its success.

An engaging Q&A session followed the presentation. The students asked many questions in regard to the production of the wine and also on how the wine is promoted.

Our sincere gratitude goes to the Caprai Winery for making this day a success; we greatly appreciated their time and hospitality.
