I have been working in logistics for 6 years while I was graduating in Italian Literature, then discovered my passion for digital media and communication. I took a Master’s degree in Innovation for SME’s in Milan and started working both as a digital consultant and a digital marketing teacher, working with a lot of different companies, from OTA’s, to videomakers, to webradios.. the best is yet to come!
1. When did you find out you that you wanted to be a teacher?
When I was 14 and I started providing private lessons to kids with problems at school. I liked to help them with colourful pencils, songs, drawings, because I was interested in how classic methodologies can be tough for some of us.
2. Which teaching strategies or techniques do you usually use?
I am an extra interactive one. Collaborative documents if I am teaching online, posters and workshops if I am in class. Videos, frequent questions, and so on. I guess my students are very tired after my lectures!
3. Which are the 3 fundamental competences that a worker need to have in order to succeed in his/her future career?
Patience, willing to learn no matter what (I was a working student and it hasn’t always been easy), tireless commitment.
4. Which suggestion would you like to give to your students about how to get the most out of their educational experience?
You may have days when the focus is zero, a teacher is boring, a topic is not interesting or you simply cannot study. Don’t give up. Find the way to work in your attention span, because time is gold! Pre-reading stuff about the next lecture is the most under-rated solution in students’ life.
5. According to you, which are the 3 main characteristics that a successful manager should have?
Ability to delegate, overview, empathy. When one of the three is missing, the consequences are immediately apparent.
6. Do you have a mentor? If yes, Who?
Alessandro Braga and Mattia Michelangeli. The impact they have had in my life in general and in my working life – especially during tough and uncertain moments – has been so deep. I come from a feminine community, I have been living and working with women only, like, for years and years. I wasn’t able to ask suggestions to men before meeting them, because all men I was meeting at work were putting hierarchy above empathy. They treated me as a daughter, as a sister and has a friend and take the best out of me, for real.
7. The most important lesson that you learned during your career path.
If you’re too emotional, work on it. Take acting lessons during your free time (in order to manage emotions), blow off steam in the gym, take some Emotional Intelligence classes. Self-esteem should be cultivated from a young age, and if your past doesn’t help you, it will ruin your working relationships. Also, consider that not always a company is a family: this is so overrated, sometimes we simply divide working and family. You can respect this difference and still love your job, I swear!
8. How would you help students to find their own talent?
We usually analyze together their CV: if there’s something they really hate doing, I tell them to start avoiding that, while a lot of people compromise on it and waste years.
9. How do you motivate yourself to take action?
I got post-its and to do lists all over my house! Also, I am very into community life (no profit works, solidarity crowdfunding) so it depends from the goals, from the people I’m working with and from.. the deadlines
10. Which things about you would you like to improve?
I would like to improve in life-working balance. When I work for 12 hours straight and I cannot speak to my family, I understand that something’s wrong.
11. How do you act to improve the world?
I try to support weaker communities, keeping in touch with no profit associations. I try to work for free and to be sure I have an amount of time to do so every month, and I donate as soon as I can. I advocate for less known issues, talking about them to as many people as I can. I teach my students to find their own ethical style, to work in marketing without telling lies.
12. Top 3 cities to visit?
I am such a lazy traveller.. I’d say (in my experience) Rome, Hong Kong and Paris. But I go back to Berlin anytime I can because I feel I belong there somehow!
13. What is your favorite thing about Rome?
The light, and the people from Rome. We’re like a family.

Yes, it’s.. Bob/Bobby! All my friends call me like that.
17. Which is your passion?
Besides working.. music.
18. Your defect?
I am the hyperactive friend in the whatsapp groups; I am soo touchy as well. Also, I talk way too much (I apologize to my friends).
19. The craziest things that you have ever done...
Going to Milan to get master done with little money in my pocket, a scholarship and only a sofa bed to sleep on at a friend’s house!
20. The happiest day of your life?
The wedding of my sister. I had so much fun and for the first time I saw all my parent dancing together!
21. What makes you feel angry?
Selfishness.
