Rome Business School Digital Hackathon Empowers Aspiring Entrepreneurs

The highly anticipated Rome Business School Digital Hackathon has recently concluded, leaving a trail of inspiration and innovation in its wake. Aspiring entrepreneurs enrolled in the #RBS4Entrepreneurship program immersed themselves in two days of masterclasses, workshops, and mentoring sessions, gaining valuable insights to bring their tech projects to life and propel their startup ventures forward.

Masterclasses and Mentoring: Unleashing Startup Potential

Guided by industry experts and mentors from Oracle and Lazio Innova, students in the #RBS4Entrepreneurship program delved into a world of knowledge and practical guidance. Giulio Castelli, Entrepreneurial Programmes Manager at Rome Business School, highlighted the significance of the Hackathon, stating, “It is the day when their ideas begin to take shape. The objective is to help them, with the support of mentors, create their MVP (Minimum Viable Project) and take a big step toward achieving their goal.”

Masterclass Insights and Vertical Workshops:

During the first day, Valentino Megale, CEO & Co-Founder of Softcare Studio, captivated the participants with a masterclass that unraveled the essential steps to navigate the development of their technology projects. From architecture to design and features, Megale provided invaluable guidance on the path to success for aspiring startup founders.

The second half of the day saw students applying their newfound knowledge in a vertical workshop led by Leopoldo Rodriguez, UX and UI designer at Seedble. The workshop focused on creating compelling web landing pages and crafting exceptional user experiences in the realm of e-commerce. With hands-on practice and expert guidance, participants honed their skills and discovered the essentials for making an impact in the digital landscape.

Mentoring Sessions: Nurturing Ideas and Addressing Project-Specific Questions

The afternoon provided an invaluable opportunity for students to put theory into practice and receive personalized guidance from technology mentors representing Oracle and Lazio Innova. Aspiring entrepreneurs seized the chance to delve deeper into their project-specific queries and gain insights from experienced professionals, paving the way for further growth and development.
