I am Maria, a passionate marketer student at Rome Business School. I have lived in Madrid, Dublin, and Rome, which ignited my curiosity and love for exploring different cultures. Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Marketing and Sales, I am thrilled to share that I have started an internship as an IT/ES/PT Prime Marketing intern at Amazon. I am excited to contribute to the success of such a renowned company and further enhance my skills in the field.

Prior to my master’s degree, I pursued a BA in Global Business, undertaking a double degree program at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas ICADE from September 2018 to June 2020, followed by Dublin City University from September 2020 to June 2022. I gained valuable work experience through two internships, which provided practical insights into the business world. Additionally, I have developed proficiency in English, and French, enabling effective communication in diverse environments.

During my master, I delved into advanced marketing concepts, honing my strategic thinking and analytical skills. Through company meetings and workshops, I gained practical experience and developed a network of professionals. I have also been dedicated to expanding my linguistic repertoire by actively learning Italian.

My post-master’s degree journey is set to be an exciting phase of professional growth. Armed with a solid academic foundation and practical experience, I am eager to make a positive impact in the marketing and sales landscape.

Give 3 pieces of advice to your fellow students to get like you a career opportunity.

Build a strong professional network. Attend company meetings, connect with professionals on platforms like LinkedIn, and participate in career fairs. A robust network can provide valuable insights, referrals, and potential job opportunities.

Gain practical experience. Seek internships, part-time jobs, or volunteer opportunities related to your field of interest. These experiences provide hands-on learning, showcase your abilities, and make you more marketable to employers.

Continuously learn and adapt. Take advantage of workshops and certifications to enhance your skill set. I also highly recommend taking the opportunity to learn a new language, such as Italian if you don’t already speak it, while studying at RBS. This will make a difference to your job search and will multiply your chances of finding a job.
