RBS’ Impact: February

73 of RBS’ students changed their professional future and were placed in February in companies such as BMW, FAO, Renault, IKEA

This Blog news explains the results of the Career Services and Entrepreneurship activity carried out during the month of February. In total, 73 of our students were placed having a professional impact. Moreover, our students this last month had the opportunities to take part to:

  • 3 Company meeting (Ferrari, Rocco Forte Hotels, RES4Africa Foundation)
  • 2 Build Workshop (HAYS, Google)
  • Fair Employability (PWA)
  • 1 Sectorial Masterclass (Cartoon Network)
  • 1 Virtual Company visit (Quell)
  • 1 Company visit (Red Bull)
  • 1 Startup Workshop (Opinno)

The Career Services help RBS Students to be ready to enter the job market, developing the right knowledge, providing the market insights and tools that they need to pursue a successful career in a specific industry. With the support of the Career Service the student can define the career path, develop a strategy, hone the self presentation skills, and sharpen the CV. Moreover, through the Career Services students have access to exclusive tools including a job portal, expert mentoring, consulting training, career targeting, and presence optimization. It provides everything the student needs to fulfil the aspirations, helping to make the most of the knowledge and capabilities of each of them.

Now thanks to RBS partners and the Career Services, 73 of our students have the opportunities to continue develop their skills, to put competences in practice and the possibility to growth professionally in companies such as: Rocco Forte Hotels, IKEA, WFP, BMW, FAO, Renault, ITA Airways, International Rescue Committee.

Eleonora T., student of the International Online Master in Sustainability and Circular Bioeconomy, explains how she will implement her learnings at KPMG.

The experience at RBS was fundamental to acquire the critical skills that will allow me to be alongside companies to support them:

  • in their transition to sustainabile products, processes and practices,
  • in the creation of industrial symbioses that empower them to achieve a circular economy and
  • in the implementation of the new regulations that intergovernmental bodies and governments will enact in the years to come 

Elena G., now Marketing Intern at L’Oréal

Elena G., student of the International Online Master in Fashion Management, explains the great impetus Rome Business School gave her to enter the industry of her dreams.

I’m excited to announce my 6-months internship at L’Oréal. Rome Business School supported me in developing my skills, resources and connections. The Masterclass on job search provided me tips in applying for the internship. During my work experience I will bring studying of the Fashion industry and skills in marketing, brand management and trend analysis with the aim to learn, collaborate and contribute to L’Oréal success. My long term goal is to grow in the fashion and beauty industry by driving innovation, building strong brands and connecting with consumers.
