What would you like people to say about you? How do you make sure you’ve made an impact? Today promoting yourself, building a strong personal identity consistent with your strengths and characteristics, is the key to recognition and success or simply the most effective means of obtaining a specific job. The purpose of using “Personal Branding” is to be able of positioning yourself in the desired context in line with who you are, with your experiences and with your skills. Knowing how to differentiate and enhance is essential in competitive job environment, especially in the one of freelancing, entrepreneurship and management.
The first thing to remember when we want to Personal Brand is focusing on two factors:
Obviously, one includes the other, it is counterproductive to show what you are not, the image we decide to show creates expectations, it is therefore appropriate to identify your strengths and communicate them correctly. Once you have identified your skills, you need to establish objectives, mission and vision, that is, be aware of the goals that you intend to achieve. It is also very important to create a storytelling, so being able to tell, study, listen and share.
The most concrete and common form of Personal Branding is your CV, it is in fact the first point of contact between us and theworkplace. It is essential to know how to write it correctly, perhaps following some small advices. The CV represents the package that aims to impress the employer and depending on the position for which you are applying, it will be excellent to personalize it and make it unique.
