Konstantinos Piliounis

Program Director

Konstantinos has a Degree in Chemistry and a Master of Science in Food Science and Management. He started his career in 1987 as Vice President of Novo Nordisk, a multinational pharmaceutical company specifically focused on care medications and devices for diabetes.

Novo Nordisk is also involved with hemostasis management, growth hormone therapy, and hormone replacement therapy. As Vice President there he was responsible for the Middle East and Africa, then for Spain and Portugal and finally for Italy, Greece, Cyprus, and Malta. In 2019 he became Chairman of the Board at BluSense Diagnostics, a MedTech company developing a point-of-care blood testing device for infectious diseases.

In the meantime, he entered the team of Rome Business School as a Professor of Management. Currently, he is the Managing Director of PNValue, a consulting firm providing customized solutions to healthcare and life science startups and established companies.

Loredana Luzzi University of Brescia - Director

Graduated in Law, qualified to practice as a job consultant and civil mediator. Top executive of public administration (local authorities). 2000 to 2006 – Manager, chief of Plan and Program Structure Healthcare Directorate Regione Lombardia. 2006 to 2007 – Administrative Director, ASL Lodi. 2008 to 2015 – Administrative Director, Garbagnate Milanese Hospital. 2016 to 30 Nov 2017  – Social and Health Care Director, ASST Great Milan Hospital GOM Niguarda, Milano. Long experience in the healthcare sector, member of ministerial and regional working groups, increasingly in the healthcare sector. Claus Duedal Pedersen sundhed.dk - Director of Sentinel Unit

20 years' experience of operating and coordination of large scale national and international eHealth project. Former project manager at Odense University Hospital, during 1995-2000 he worked extensively with quality development, user surveys and evaluations at the Development Section at the county of Funen. Since March 2000 he worked as a consultant at the Danish Centre for Health Telematics, as administrator of projects within eHealth technologies in both regional national and international perspectives. Today he’s director of Sentinel Unit at Sundhed.dk, a comprehensive offer with information and digital services from the public health service. Danish Regions, the Ministry of Health and Prevention, the National Board of Health, regions, hospitals and municipalities use sundhed.dk in the service of citizens and health professionals.

Costas Piliounis  PNValue - Managing Director

He Started his career in Food Industry in R+D and later in Production. From 1987 till 2017, he worked in Novo Nordisk where he had several leadership positions like Head of Middle East & Africa, Head of Marketing and Business Development in International Operations. In 2017 he established PNValue, an investment and consulting company. Through PNValue he invests in startup companies with focus in eHealth. He was also Chairman of the Board at BluSense Diagnostics.

Stefano works as Head ICT Department Translational Bio-Informatics and Medical Informatics at MonasterioFoundation Research Hospitals Tuscany Region –ITALY., research center in the field of cardiopulmonary pathology Stefano is former software architect and develop in military sector. Canio Mancaniello Project Manager NTT Data Italy

Canio, MBA works as a project manager at NTT Data Italia. He received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bari. He received his Master's degree in Computer Engineering, with specialization in Artificial Intelligence, from the University of Rome "La Sapienza." He also worked as a project manager and IT consultant at Ericsson for more than 4 years.

Valentino Megale CEO Softcare Studios

Technology entrepreneur focused on digital health and mental wellness, TEDx speaker and author. Biologist, PhD in Neuropharmacology with international academic research experience in pharmacology, drug development, organic chemistry and molecular biology. In 2014 he co-founded the Open BioMedical Initiative, a social impact nonprofit organization addressing disabilities through 3D printing, online collaborative design and community building. In 2017, he co-founded Softcare Studios, a digital health startup focused on improving the therapeutic experience for patients and optimizing hospital operations using immersive technologies and data tracking.
