Previously at IBM, Silvia served as Senior Cloud Technical Sales Manager, leading teams of cloud architects and driving significant revenue growth for 16 years. She has extensive experience in public cloud sales, project management, and developing solutions in Cloud, Cognitive, and Analytics technologies. A recognized speaker on Digital Transformation and Sustainability, Silvia has received awards such as the Google Cloud Club 2024 Winner and the EMEA Manager Awards – IBM Fast Start 2021.

Holding a degree in Physics from Sapienza University of Rome, she has also completed advanced training at SDA Bocconi. An active member of the Confindustria Roma youth board, Silvia is passionate about supporting young professionals in the tech industry.

Dr. Raffaele Miele boasts over 10 years of experience in the field of data science, with a strong academic background in Machine Learning and Statistics. He is also a lecturer at the University of Naples Federico II and other academic institutions, where he teaches advanced courses in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Currently, he works at Olidata SpA as IT Manager and Principal Solution Architect, where he leads complex projects in AI, Machine Learning, and cybersecurity, serving high-profile clients such as Italian Banking Group and Bank of Italy. His career spans roles in various leading companies, including Integris SpA and CRISMA srl, where he managed advanced AI-driven solutions and cybersecurity projects for organizations like Terna, TIM, and Poste Italiane. She worked in the world of international logistics between 2008 and 2015 as an Operation Manager, then in tourism, in luxury fashion as a Product Developer and then dedicated herself to Digital Marketing in many industries. Graduated in Humanities and Massmedia Communication, she is specialized in Digital Communication and Strategies, holds a Master in Digital Transformation for SMEs and a Master in Blockchain Management. She is currently studying Cognitive Science of Language and Action with a focus on data ethics.

Pietro Marinelli is an Artificial Intelligence expert and Data Scientist with over 15 years of professional experience spanning the academic, public, and private sectors. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of PheasyAI, where he leads innovation in AI applications for the healthcare industry. Dr. Marinelli earned his Master's Degree in Statistics for Information Systems (2007) and a Degree in Statistics and Economics (2004) from Sapienza University of Rome. Giacomo Scettri Data Scientist

Giacomo Scettri is an experienced data science trainer and educator with a strong focus on STEM education and innovative teaching methods. With over 1,000 hours of training in data science and machine learning for companies like Codemotion, TIM, and Manpower, he has helped launch careers for STEM graduates and career changers. Giacomo is also an adjunct professor at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, where he taught mathematics to international students. His academic background includes a Master's degree in History and Didactics of Physics from the University of Bologna, where his thesis explored the differences in learning between game-based learning and formal education. Additionally, he has a Master's in Physics of Complex Systems from IFISC in Palma de Mallorca and a Bachelor's in Physics from La Sapienza University. Giacomo is also the founder of “Dopolavoro matematico,” a movement aimed at making mathematics more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Gabriele Patrizi Expert Data Scientist at Corte dei conti

Dr. Gabriele Patrizi is an accomplished academic and industry professional with over 15 years of experience in data science, business intelligence, and data architecture. He currently works as an Expert Data Scientist at the Corte dei Conti and lectures in Big Data and Business Analytics at Rome Business School. Dr. Patrizi focuses on developing students' skills in data analysis, machine learning, and business intelligence. He holds a Master's degree in Management and Automation Engineering from the University of Roma Tre and a Master’s degree in Analysis and Modelling of Data and Processes from the Università degli Studi di Roma UnitelmaSapienza. Cristian Napoli Professor Sapienza University of Rome

Professor at the Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering "Antonio Ruberti," Sapienza University of Rome, since 2019, as well as Scientific Director and co-founder (2015) of the International School of Advanced and Applied Informatics (ISAAC). He holds a B.Sc. Sc. degree in Physics from the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Catania, in 2010, where he also received the M.Sc. degree in Astrophysics in 2012 and Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2016 from the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, and was awarded the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor in Computer Engineering (2017) and Computer Science (2019).

The Flexon Learning Methodology

Adhering to the highest standards of teaching methodology provided by EFMD, the Master is taught through interactive lectures, case study analyses, exercises, discussions, teamwork exercises, video conferences, business analysis and sessions of student presentations. Students are encouraged to read and engage in discussions and debates. The teaching methodology is based on learning by doing, with lecturers implementing a student-centered approach, getting students involved and providing activities that allow students to apply the knowledge acquired. The Online Methodology consists of live, interactive lectures, led and facilitated by professors. The programs are self-paced, as students take pre-master courses at their own speed and using self-assessment exercises. This practical, applicable methodology consists of synchronous and asynchronous activities.

Students are free to learn at their own pace and define personal learning paths based on their individual needs and interests, as well as the content provided, taking into account the deadlines for learning, evaluation and assessments. The self-paced methodology is applied on the pre-master courses, which are based on pre-recorded interactive sessions led by the lecturer professor, with a PPT presentation, exercises and self-assessment for each course. Students study the material at their own pace and do a self-assessment exercise to track their progress.

The online learning methodology is fully professor-led and facilitated live in real time. Every lecture is created and delivered by a lecturer using our online platform Blackboard. The communication tools used by the lecturers include discussion forums, chats, emails, breakout sessions, whiteboards, and audio and video sharing to communicate and work together. As a final step, sessions usually include an exercise or assessment to measure the learning.

The online methodology in every class is live and interactive. Teaching methods and techniques are used creatively to develop an engaging and motivating learning experience. There is frequent interaction with the student interaction to foster and maintain engagement and promote learning.

The online learning methodology is practical, with all the class activities and online learning methods, e-content and materials used also being put into practice in the different assessments (self-assessments, tests and practical assignments), capstone project and class activities.

The online methodology is structured as a combination of synchronous or real-time activities (such as online platform chats, breakout rooms/sessions, virtual pooling, virtual whiteboard, etc.) and asynchronous or on-demand activities, which students can do whenever suits them best in terms of their preferences and other commitments (such as emails, discussion forum platforms, online platform meetings, recorded lectures via links, virtual coffee and conversation sessions, etc.).
