7 Startup Projects enter the RBS Incubation phase

We are really proud to reveal the 7 startups, out of the 15 competing projects, that will be eligible for the Rome Business School incubation program.

The Selection Day

During the event, the 15 best projects, chosen by our pre-selection committee from a pool of over 50 projects, presented their 3 minute pitch to have the chance to get into the Incubation program of Rome Business School. The projects were evaluated by a jury of entrepreneurs, investors and startuppers, in a live presentation session.

Afterwards, the committee chose the 7 winning startups to be admitted to Rome Business School’s innovative incubation program, where they will have the opportunity to further develop their idea into an MVP product.

The Winners

Dean Antonio Ragusa reveals the winning projects, deemed most deserving for the social impact, quality of the team, ability to innovate, and sustainability of the idea, in line with our #BetterManagersforaBetterWorld vision and says, ” It was really difficult to choose the winners again this year because the quality of all the competing projects was very high, which makes us really proud.”
Here is the list of the 7 selected projects:

✔️Smart Romeing: An app for university students and smart workers to help them find places to study or work
✔️Friendland: A legal marketplace for immigration lawyers and expatriates
✔️ Gallery Rally: A social networking application for art galleries and visitors
✔️Kliteur: A platform to improve the overall health and well-being of women
✔️ The Design Shop: An agency that allows customers to track the design process and customize it
✔️Alternalgae: Microalgae production in Photobioreactors, supplying businesses with high-added value products.
✔️ SQUP: A delicious plant-based ice cream with no added sugars.

The Dean is keen to encourage projects that were not selected “to persevere and pursue their activities because entrepreneurship is about perseverance, resilience and determination. Meanwhile, Rome Business School will continue to offer startup talks, workshops and networking opportunities to support all those who want to grow and develop their businesses.”

We would like to thank all the people involved in these activities from the RBS staff, Opinno project managers, evaluation jury members and faculty.
