Winners Announced for #RBS4Entrepreneurship Selection Day at Rome Business School

Rome Business School is proud to announce the remarkable winners of the highly-anticipated #RBS4Entrepreneurship Selection Day. This event, which took place on Friday, showcased the entrepreneurial spirit and innovative potential of fifteen exceptional teams. These teams, carefully selected from a pool of over 50 outstanding projects, had the opportunity to present their startup ideas and gain valuable insights from a panel of distinguished judges comprised of experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and experts.

The core mission of Rome Business School is to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and the development of new initiatives. The #RBS4Entrepreneurship Selection Day perfectly encapsulates this mission by providing aspiring entrepreneurs with a platform to transform their ideas into reality. Our incubation program, designed to support the development of innovative entrepreneurial ventures, is a testament to our commitment to nurturing the next generation of business leaders.

The Selection Process:

The Selection Day was a rigorous and competitive event, where each of the 15 team leaders presented their startup concepts in a concise 3-minute pitch. The projects were evaluated based on five key criteria:

1. Degree of innovation within the business/market idea.
2. Corporate sustainability.
3. Social impact.
4. Team composition and motivation.
5. Quality of the pitch.

The Rome Business School’s initiative is geared towards supporting the development of innovative entrepreneurial endeavors, equipping participants with the essential skills needed to transform their startup ideas into reality. This Selection Day was a testament to the school’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation.

2. ROMILIA – Italian-designed smart eyewear: Acknowledged for their wearable Italian fashion glasses designed to prevent UV exposure risks.
3. Hogo: Celebrated for their work on developing an innovative crate for the transportation of works of art.
4. TerraBreeze: Applauded for their innovative indoor cooling system that significantly reduces energy consumption compared to traditional AC units.
5. MonuMate: Commended for their work on a platform that allows tourists to see monuments in their original look.
6. Monotapp: Recognized for their portal, which enables local artists and talented artisans to reach new potential clients online.
7. Uzuri Nutritional Bar: Honored for their dedication to developing a nutritional bar made of 100% organic ingredients for children in the Kenian county.
8. MISCEL MONTON: Praised for the creation of a fashion brand that minimizes damage and environmental impact by using textile waste or upcycling old garments.
