Rome Business School and Winning Women Institute (WWI) have signed an agreement to promote inclusivity and gender equality through tailored training programs. The two organizations will collaborate within their respective areas of expertise – WWI focusing on gender certification and RBS on the design and delivery of academic content – to offer customized training programs to companies, institutions, and organizations that are either certified or in the process of being certified by WWI.
This partnership aims to empower organizations by enhancing their managerial and leadership skills, with programs that leverage inclusivity and gender equality as key drivers of corporate growth.
We are excited to contribute to this project, which reflects our commitment to creating a positive impact through training that values diversity and inclusivity. We want to support organizations in developing leaders capable of integrating these values at the core of their business strategies,” says Massimo Scarcello, Associate Dean of Rome Business School.
Rome Business School has long been committed to training professionals who are inclusive, innovative, and ethically driven, creating a positive impact both within companies and in society at large. It has forged partnerships with organizations such as PWA (Professional Women’s Association), which supports professional women globally, and corporations like Microsoft and Oracle. RBS prepares its students to promote diversity, inclusivity, and female leadership through workshops and events.
As part of its academic offerings, RBS integrates programs like the Leadership Program, Fair Employability Program, Cross-Cultural Management, and Building Ethical and Responsible Organizations. Within RBS itself, women constitute 60% of the staff, with 31% holding leadership roles. Among the faculty, women represent 27%, while 64% of the participants in the RBS4Entrepreneurship program are female entrepreneurs and startup founders.
Additionally, through its Research and Outreach Center, RBS regularly publishes a Gender Gap Report and has introduced Executive Women Scholarships to support women aspiring to leadership roles. With over 54% female students – many balancing professional and family commitments – these scholarships aim to advance their professional development. Female participation in RBS Master’s programs is notably high: 52% of Italian students, 59% of European students, 57% from the Americas, and 38% from Africa are women.
The partnership with Winning Women Institute, an organization dedicated to promoting gender equality in the workplace through certification, reinforces RBS’s ongoing commitment to this cause. Gender certification is a powerful tool for companies to improve their practices in inclusion and diversity, fostering a fairer and more productive work environment.
This collaboration allows us to join forces with a prestigious institution like Rome Business School to give companies the tools for real change. With our experience in gender certification and their excellence in training, we can accompany companies in a process of cultural evolution that starts with leadership and reaches out to embrace the entire organization, says Paola Corna Pellegrini, President of Winning Women Institute.
