Digital HR Strategy Lectures with Emanuele Cacciatore, Engineering Ingegneria

Starting on Monday 19th of June, Emanuele Cacciatore, Head of Group Digital Offering and Go-to-Market Strategy at Engineering Ingegneria Informatica Spa, taught the first session related to the lecture series on digital HR strategy.

Several topics regarding the digital transformation of manual HR processes were addressed: a really interesting discussion that allowed the students on the one hand to know in detail the goal of improving key HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding and workforce management, and on the other hand to know the skills needed to work in the HR field.

In fact, according to Emanuele Cacciatore: “To work in the HR field you need to have a good understanding of what the traditional key processes of HR management are and know the employee life cycle: from hiring to processing. It is necessary to know the macro areas, the macro functional domains then talent management and to possess the ability to coordinate and identify the organization’s skills, which are substantiated by reading and mapping the resources available at a given time in the company. In addition, a good balance between analytical skills and interpersonal skills is required, as communication with work groups from different units, with increasingly cross-functional teams, becomes essential. Finally, the key is curiosity, which allows one to read and interpret all the new trends in the labor market.”
