Rome Business School Career Fair: 105 companies, over 950 students, connecting talent with the job market. It remains the largest career fair organized by a business school in Italy.

Networking opportunities, interviews, and dedicated talks. Over 550 job opportunities across 16 sectors, including finance, tech, fashion, hospitality, as well as cross-functional roles in HR, marketing, data science, IT & technology, business development, communication, supply chain, and project management.

Participating companies include: Amazon, Renault, IBM, Louis Vuitton, Oracle, American Express.

The event also offers a valuable opportunity for participating companies to meet qualified candidates, streamlining the selection process and enabling an immediate evaluation of profiles that best match their needs.

“We are very pleased to host such an important representation of Italian and multinational companies, a practical demonstration of our strong connection to the business world, aimed at providing real job opportunities to our students,” says Marco Regoli, Head of the Career Center at RBS.

From early in the morning, students had the opportunity to visit stands from companies such as American Express, Autostrade per l’Italia, Bvlgari, Toyota, and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection to apply for open positions, introduce themselves to recruiters, submit their CVs, gain interview experience, improve their communication skills, learn about recruitment processes, receive valuable advice directly from HR professionals, and, most importantly, get to know the companies up close.

“The candidates are all very well-prepared, with diverse backgrounds. For us, it is extremely important to be here at the Career Fair; we are here to recruit those who, in the future, should be our leaders. What are we looking for? Flexible roles that can ensure the same level of performance at various levels across different business lines. So, we’re not just looking for sector-specific profiles for a particular business, but individuals who can maintain the same standards at multiple levels and across different areas of the company,” says Fabrizio Maltese, Full Lifecycle Recruiter at Amazon.

The day was enriched with training and inspiring moments, such as Oracle’s talk on how to stand out in the era of AI-managed hiring, as well as sessions on talent attraction held by Amazon and Fendi, and personal branding strategies presented by Manpower.

RBS’s commitment to student career development is constant throughout the year. The goal is to shape talents capable of being competitive, innovative, and making a positive impact on both companies and society as a whole. Moreover, RBS prepares students through practical training, focusing on the latest trends and needs of the job market, and ultimately connects them with companies. To date, over 1,400 companies are partners of Rome Business School, providing students with opportunities to engage. Additionally, more than 190 activities are organized annually, including Business Practice Labs, Company Shadowing, and Company Meetings, designed to prepare students and bring them closer to companies. As a result, 70.7% of RBS students receive job offers before completing their Master, and 78% experience a salary increase during their studies.

RBS aims to shape professionals and specialists ready to enter and grow in the workforce. Of the 1,642 students in this intake, 32% are Italian and 68% are international. Of these, 56% are enrolled in functional Master’s programs such as Finance, General Management, HR, and Data & Technology, while 44% focus on fields like Health, Tourism, and Energy. The training provided is highly practical, focusing on the development of soft skills, and is continuously updated through the contributions of the 130 companies that make up RBS’s Corporate Advisory Board, as well as activities such as Bootcamps abroad and the Capstone Project, which allow students to gain hands-on experience. Finally, each student can personalize their career path by choosing from seven options offered by the Career Center, enhanced by individual meetings, mock interviews, workshops, and interactions with career coaches, HR consultants, and recruiters.
All these initiatives contribute to students experiencing an average salary increase of 27% one year after graduation, with 88.8% of students taking on greater responsibilities in their current jobs and 82.5% applying the skills developed in the workplace. Getting to know companies up close also serves as an inspiration for many young people who decide to start their own ventures: through RBS4Entrepreneurship, the business incubator of Rome Business School, over 210 new ideas have been developed and more than 400 MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) have been created since its launch in 2021. These initiatives have generated nearly 500 new job positions and led to the creation of 37 high-quality start-ups, more than 53% of which have already acquired customers.
The success of RBS students in the global job market, with an impressive 62% working in multinational companies, is a testament to the effectiveness of RBS’s training and commitment to preparing global leaders ready to tackle and overcome the challenges of the modern world. The Career Fair therefore remains an unmissable opportunity to enter the job market, build valuable connections, and receive concrete support in defining one’s professional path.
