Research Center 

The Research Center of the Rome Business School aims to promote the production and distribution of knowledge within the academic, professional and social system. The Center focuses on both scientific and informative research, respecting the highest methodological and content standards.The Research Center plays a key role in the mission of the Rome Business School, which aims to provide excellent management training with a focus on corporate social responsibility and internationality. The Center therefore collaborates with academics, professionals and researchers from all over the world to identify the most innovative and effective solutions in the field of management, entrepreneurship and economic-social phenomena.The Research Center of the Rome Business School is committed to producing documents that are useful both for companies and for the entire academic community and society as a whole. In this way, the Rome Business School intends to support people and organizations in successfully facing the challenges of global competitiveness, offering them useful theoretical, methodological and empirical perspectives.

 

The Director of the Divulgative Research Center

Valerio Mancini

Valerio Mancini is a lecturer and Director of the Outreach Research Center at Rome Business School, as well as Director of the Center for Sport Diplomacy and Innovation (CSDI) at the Rome City Institute. He serves as an adjunct professor at Sapienza University of Rome, LUMSA University, Guglielmo Marconi University, the University of Perugia, and Unicollege Florence. He is also a visiting lecturer at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (China) and at other international academic institutions.

He has worked as a researcher and consultant for several international organizations, including UNODC, UNICRI, MAOC-N, and the OECD. His experience includes institutional consulting in Colombia on justice reform projects and collaborations with the National School of Administration at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

He is the author of numerous academic publications, reports, and articles, and regularly collaborates with media outlets and think tanks. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of The Market: International Journal of Business (Cyprus) and of the Editorial Board of the GIBS Case Journal (India). Since 2025, he has also been a member of the “Smart City” Council of the Municipality of Rome. Among his most recent publications are Calcio & Geopolitica (2021, winner of the 56th CONI Literary Award), Calcio, politica e potere (2023), Arte, moda e geopolitica (2023), and El gran juego (2024).

He earned an EdD from Westcliff University (USA) and an LL.M. from the University of Teramo. He holds a degree in International Relations and European Integration from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and a Master’s in Economic Security, Geopolitics, and Intelligence from the Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI).

He is a member of the Economic Forum in Karpacz (Poland) and Brand Ambassador for the football club L’Aquila 1927. His book Calcio & Geopolitica has been translated into English, Spanish, and Catalan, and has been presented in more than ten countries worldwide.

Federica Salvatori

PhD in Accounting, Dr Salvatori is a highly esteemed and adaptable academic and manager who brings a wealth of experience across diverse Higher Education environments, spanning the United Kingdom, Italy, and the United States. She has a 15 year experience in teaching and researching. Interested in financial and non financial reporting as well as in the role of accounting in society, her work was presented at a number of international conferences and published in peer reviewed journals. During her career in Higher Education, she has taken on a variety of leadership roles have wherein she has spearheaded significant transformative initiatives, adeptly resolved multifaceted challenges, and ensured the seamless integration of robust compliance processes, facilitating the improvement of student learning experience and growth of academic programs.
