The Rome Business School Practice Lab is where theoretical concepts are put into practice and participants learn through experience.

Microsoft managers will lead the Lab, examining various specialist knowledge, working on exercises, and networking with students while sharing their experience and expertise. This Lab is completely run by Microsoft* managers, with whom you will work to develop a product launch strategy and run a virtual company as CEO. An educational experience

You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your abilities by tackling a real-world business challenge at the end of your educational experience. Make use of your skills to identify opportunities and create a truly innovative strategy.

Take on a genuine business challenge. You can work with a small group to develop a marketing strategy for a new business, a strategy to increase online sales, or a loyalty offering for different generations.

Two case studies from two different companies will be assigned to you to put your master’s course knowledge to the test.

Program Director

With over 30 years of international experience, Alberto has worked with global companies, assuming responsibility across various countries, regions, and global accounts. Currently Senior Advisory consultant at NHZCA Srl., previous Partner at YOURgroup, former Vice President Eastern Europe at HMD Global, he specializes in telecommunication devices and network technology, with a focus on mobile products for retailers, enterprises, and operators. His expertise spans sales, marketing, and business development, with a strong emphasis on go-to-market (GTM) strategies and product planning.

Throughout his career, Alberto has successfully developed, aligned, and executed strategies across diverse regions and local markets. He has extensive leadership experience, overseeing day-to-day operations, managing team performance, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. He has been accountable for operational results, including P&L management, and has consistently set team direction, established targets, and managed budgets.

In addition, Alberto has built strong customer relationships across multiple product segments and has played a key role in influencing policies while maintaining the integrity of teams, all while driving organizational success. Furthermore he is the Program Director of the RBS master in International Management since 2021 and a proud RBS Alumnus.

Francesca Bracci Staff Trainer for Luxury Hospitality Hotels

Francesca Bracci is a trainer and lecturer with over 20 years of professional experience across the luxury, hospitality, and education sector. She teaches Fashion and Luxury Marketing, Customer Experience, and Communication Strategies in various master's programs. Holding a degree in Sociology with a major in Communication from La Sapienza University, she integrates academic insight with practical expertise developed through international event planning and staff training for global luxury brands including Fendi, Bulgari, and Marriott. Her work has involved strategic planning for governmental institutions and executive leadership coaching in multicultural contexts. She is certified in Leadership and Communication (Berlin, 2019) and brings a holistic, emotionally intelligent approach to professional development.

Massimo Sarti Business Agility Consultant and Trainer

Massimo Sarti is an experienced consultant, trainer, and lecturer specializing in Agile methodologies, Project Management, and innovation practices. With over 25 years of professional experience, he currently serves as a trainer for ENI Corporate University and various private organizations, focusing on Agile Awareness, Scrum, and Lean UX. Sarti is also a lecturer at Rome Business School and Politecnico di Torino, where he teaches courses on Entrepreneurship, Design Thinking, and Lean Startup. He holds certifications as a Professional Scrum Trainer and Accredited Kanban Trainer, Lean Agile Coach and Trainer Sarti has consulted for global companies such as SACE SpA, TIM, and Barilla, and contributed to significant process improvements and Agile transformations. Federico Coccia is a marketing strategist, entrepreneur, and lecturer with over 12 years of professional experience in brand strategy, digital marketing, and omnichannel communication. He is the Founder and Marketing Manager of Edit Studio, a multidisciplinary agency specializing in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, where he has led over 150 projects for international clients. He also lectures at IED – Istituto Europeo di Design and visiting lecturer at ESSEC Business School. Mr. Coccia holds a degree in Marketing and Communication from IED and is certified in Google Analytics and LinkedIn Marketing Strategy. Germana Barba Public Affairs & Policy Expert

Germana Barba is a public and international affairs consultant, political scientist and lecturer with over 25 years of experience in regulatory, governmental, and corporate affairs. She currently teaches Public Affairs at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. She previously held executive roles at Philip Morris International, including Vice President of Regulatory Affairs. Ms. Barba holds two MSc degrees in EU Studies and International Relations from the London School of Economics, and a Degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Trieste, awarded with highest honors. She has previously served as Adjunct professor at the University of Pavia. Founder of Women in Action and board member of Global Women in PR Italia, she advises global clients through her consultancy based in Lausanne. Her publications focus on communication, Euro-Mediterranean relations, and industrial dialogue.

Graduated in Economics and Business Administration, he currently works for the consulting firm ASTRINA, based in New York, in the Complex Valuations – Litigation Finance department. He has gained experience as an analyst for a hedge fund (Restructuring – Special Situations), CFO, professor, and consultant. He has also published several articles on Seeking Alpha. He has passed Level 1 and Level 2 of the CFA exam and is currently preparing for Level 3. He is a member of the CFA Society Italy. CARLO PIVANTI
Carlo Pivanti Marketing Consultant

Carlo Pivanti is a seasoned marketing executive and consultant with over 30 years of professional experience in the consumer goods industry. Mr. Pivanti holds a degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Rome "La Sapienza". Mr. Pivanti held senior leadership roles in multinational corporations. He served as Chief Marketing Officer at the Pepsi-Lipton Joint Venture and held multiple Vice President roles in Brand Development at Unilever, overseeing marketing operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey. His tenure at Unilever spanned more than two decades, where he led strategic brand initiatives in the ice cream and frozen food sectors. His industry expertise and academic involvement position him as a valuable resource in bridging theory with global marketing practice. He has over three years of teaching experience at Rome Business School where he teaches courses in global marketing strategy, brand development, and FMCG innovation.

VALERIO
Valerio Mancini Director Research Center

With over 18 years of professional experience, he has held academic roles across Italy and internationally, including appointments in the United States, Colombia, France, and China. He holds an LL.M. in International Cooperation Against Transnational Financial Organized Crime (Università degli Studi di Teramo), an M.A. in Economic Security, Geopolitics and Intelligence (SIOI), and a B.A. and M.A. in Political Science and International Relations from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. His general expertise is in geopolitics, diplomacy, and international organizations. He worked for the National School of Administration – Presidency of the Council of Ministers, and in 2022 he received a letter of commendation for his service at the SNA.​ He has collaborated with leading institutions (UNODC, UNICRI, MAOC-N e OCSE), contributing to urban security, anti-counterfeiting, and transnational crime prevention initiatives. Dr. Mancini serves on the scientific board of *The Market: International Journal of Business* (Cyprus Business School) and is a visiting lecturer at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. He is a published author in fields including international relations, criminology, and geopolitical analysis, with recent works such as *El Gran Juego* (Alta Marea, 2024) and *Arte, moda, geopolitica* (Egea, 2023), “Football and Geopolitics” (Mondo Nuovo, 2021), a book awarded at the 56th CONI Literary Competition. Ruggero Battisti is a Chartered Accountant and seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in advisory, audit, compliance, due diligence (DD), forensic work, M&A, business process reengineering (BPR), and turnaround and change management projects in both national and multinational environments. He is currently the Founding Partner at ItalRevi S.p.A. and GMG Capital S.r.l., where he has been providing advisory, compliance, and audit services since 1997. Additionally, he is a partner at GMG Capital, focusing on corporate finance and M&A activities. Ruggero has held significant roles, including Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors, Chairman and Member of the Board of Statutory Auditors, and Supervisory Bodies pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/01. His expertise spans various sectors, including industrial, construction, pharmaceutical, automotive, luxury & fashion, banking & financial services, insurance, telecommunications, non-profit, and the public sector. Silvia Melandri Lawyer

Silvia Melandri is a legal consultant & Senior Lawyer expert and lecturer with over 25 years of professional experience in civil, commercial, and international law. She currently teaches International Business Law and related subjects. A graduate of LUISS Guido Carli University (Law, 1999), she earned her degree summa cum laude with a thesis in industrial law. Ms. Melandri has taught at the University of Tuscia as “Cultore della materia” and delivered specialized legal training for institutions including Banca Esperia and Ospedale Belcolle.​ Admitted to the legal profession in 2003, she has served as legal consultant and litigator for leading Italian firms and international clients such as Lloyd’s of London, Ralph Lauren, and SNAM Rete Gas, with expertise spanning insolvency, labor law, and international contracts. She is currently a consultant at Studio Traverso e Associati and Officinalex. Her publications address topics in liability insurance, unfair competition, and legal education. The admission process is aimed to verify the candidate’s eligibility to attend the Master in International Management. The candidate’s academic history, previous experiences in the topics covered in the Master and motivation will be matters of the evaluation. Once it’s sent, the application will be evaluated by the Rome Business School’s academic committee. In order to ensure the application’s suitability, it is important to deliver all of the required documentation.

Global Master in International Management: Financial Aid and Tuition

Fee

Payment of the participation fee of € 14,900 can be made in the following ways:

  • Installments from moments of enrollment (earlier enrollment for more installments)
  • Full Payment with an additional discount of -10%

Scholarships

Based on their personal profile, experience and proven motivation, the candidate may be awarded a scholarship to partially cover the participation fee. In fact, Rome Business School offers the most deserving candidates the opportunity to benefit from 7 different types of scholarships. These partial economic hedges can consist of 6 months of interest-free financing.
