Students will learn the application of marketing principles in organizational decision making. - Human Resource Management
This subject area focuses on strategic human resource issues such as workforce acquisition, development, motivation and retention.
During the second module of the International Online Master in Finance, students will cover:
- Introduction to Financial Management
This module introduces students to the fundamental concepts and methods used in finance, such as financial accounting, financial statement analysis, capital structure, and capital budgeting. - Capital Budgeting
In this module, the concept of Capital Budgeting is presented, and investment criteria such as Risk-adjusted return, Sharpe ratio, Cost of Capital are considered. - Valuation of Financial Assets
Students will interface with practical tools for asset valuation, including Comparable Company Analysis, Discounted Cash Flow, CAPM. In addition, there will be a special focus on the valuation of marketable assets such as stocks, bonds and derivatives. - Capital Structure, Liquidity and Payout Policy
This module presents the concepts of Capital Structure Policy, including debt structure, relationships with banks and bondholders, and managerial incentives such as stock options and warrants.
During the third module of the International Master Online in Finance, students will explore:
- Innovation and Sustainability in Finance
This module presents advanced finance topics, including advanced financial mathematics, statistical/econometric forecasting, Big Data analysis, and financial applications of Machine Learning, Blockchain, and Fintech. - Investment Vehicles
This module presents the most common investment vehicles, including various types of derivatives, real estate, and M&A hedge fund investments.

Rome Business School Practice Lab is the place where theoretical concepts are put in practice and participants learn through experience. The Lab is run by BNL managers who will examine different specialist knowledge, work on exercises and network, while sharing their experience and expertise with the students. This Lab is entirely run by BNL managers, with whom you will create strategy to guide customer’s through the customer’s journey of BNL.
At the end of your educational experience, you will have the chance to prove your abilities by tackling a real business challenge. Use your talent to identify opportunities and create a truly innovative strategy.
Tackle a real company challenge. You can choose to be part of a small team and design a Marketing plan for a new business or develop a strategy to increase online sales or create a loyalty offering for different generation.
You will be given two case studies from two real companies that will allow you to test your knowledge learned during the master’s course.
