International Master in International Business and Corporate Law Overview

Participants will learn the importance and benefits of international law, especially when managing international business, since it is essential to interpret the law according to the country and its impact on commercial activities. Practice Lab | In partnership with

Rome Business School Practice Lab is the place where theoretical concepts are put in practice and participants learn through experience. The Lab is run by Enel S.p.A managers who will examine different specialist knowledge, work on exercises and network, while sharing their experience and expertise with the students. This Lab is entirely run by Enel S.p.A managers with whom you will create strategy to guide customer’s throught the customer’s journey of Enel S.p.A products.

Capstone Project

You will have the opportunity to exhibit your abilities at the end of the course by tackling a real-world business challenge. Utilize your skills to find chances and create a truly inventive plan.

Face a real-life business challenge. You have the option of working in a small group, developing an internet sales plan, or developing a loyalty programme for different generations.

Two case studies from two real firms will be assigned to you to put your master’s course knowledge to the test.

Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Salerno​. Classical high school Diploma from “Q. Orazio Flacco Lyceum” in Potenza

Giuseppe Ferrara is a lawyer admitted to practice law before the Italian courts up to the Supreme Court of Cassation and has been Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs Europe of the Enel Group (for all the various European countries in which the Group is present, including Germany, United Kingdom United Kingdom , Slovakia, Russia, Romania and Greece).

Over the years he has held other managerial positions within the Legal Department of the Enel Group such as Head of Intellectual Property and Innovation, Head of Labor and Legal Policies, Head of the ICT and TLC, Head of Litigation as well as General Counsel of E-distribuzione SpA.

He has been a member of several Compliance Bodies of the Enel Group companies, served on the Board of Directors and the Strategy Commitee of Enel Russia PJSC and is currently a member of the Board of Enel Romania SA. and Vice- Chairman of the Supervisory Body of Slovenske Elektrarne a.s.

He is the author of numerous publications in legal journals and was editorial coordinator of a Legal Review of Electricity (Rassegna giuridica dell’energia elettrica – Ed. Cedam).

He is also passionate about sports law and is Head of the Legal Department of the professional football club Latina Calcio 1932.

Giuseppe was born in Potenza, is married to Katia and has three children.

Martine Helene Minnecré International HR Director Jesuit Refugee Service

Martine Helene Minnecré specializes in international human resource management and employment-related legal issues. After working for more than 12 years for two of the Big Four, a Brussels law firm and the United Nations World Food Program as a legal expert in this field, she set up her own consulting business in Rome, providing consulting services to small and medium-sized organizations. She holds two master's degrees, one in Labor and Social Security Law and the other in European, International and Comparative Law.

Marshall Langer Financial Expert

A native of Miami, Florida, Marshall received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and has additionally taken extensive graduate coursework in counselling psychology at New York University. Marshall enjoyed a 12-year career in diverse business and finance sectors in the U.S. and Europe. He has worked on Wall Street on investment banking and risk arbitrage for firms like Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette as well as in trading for BNP Paribas. He further worked in the areas of corporate management, marketing strategy, management consulting, and real estate. Marshall has also taught at New York University’s Stern School of Business, Fordham University, University of Connecticut, Luiss University, and The American University of Rome. Marshall authored UN agency FAO Course guide: Fundamentals of International Business Management, Rome, 2006 and co-author of Leveraged Buyouts, Rome, Kappa, 2012.

Since October 2015 to 2022 he worked as Evaluation Expert at ANVUR, the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research Institutes. He is CSR auditor (SA8000, SEDEX and social compliance standards). During the last 15 years he worked mostly on Fair Trade, CSR and inclusive Supply Chain Development initiatives as: Member of the Board of Directors at Equo Garantito, the Italian Network of Fair-Trade Organizations, Member of the Board of Directors at Ctm Altromercato, the main Fair-Trade organization in Italy and the second worldwide. From February 2022, he’s Evaluation Expert at Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

Senior Partner at Arventia Capital ​with over 20 years of experience in Sales, Marketing and Management. ​Matured all his professional career developing and managing innovative and high-tech projects in two main industries Information Technology and Healthcare. Francesco held several Sales Marketing managerial positions in multinational companies such as Microsoft, IBM Baxter. He ran as Managing/Senior Director innovative entrepreneurial projects for startups and small enterprises. Patricio Barbirotto
Patricio Barbirotto Università Ca'​ Foscari Venezia - Research Fellow

A research fellow in International Law at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and works in the consulting field International Law and International Affairs. He studied and worked in Italy, in the Czech Republic, in the PRC and in Russia and he fluently speaks 5 languages. Lecturer in "International Business Law" in the "Global Development and Entrepreneurship" master's degree course for the academic year 2021/2022; Lecturer in “Advanced International Law” in the master's degree course “Comparative International Relations” for the academic year 2022/2023. His main fields of interest and expertise are regional integration, international business law (with particular attention to the role of the non-State actors), West-East relations and the relation between international law and new technologies (namely the blockchain, the AI and in general all the issues related to cybersecurity). He is the author of a number of scientific publications concerning his fields of expertise, published both in Italy and abroad, and he has been member of the venetian editorial board of ‘Diritto del commercio internazionale’ (Italian A-Class scientific journal) since 2021. He holds a Master degree in International Relations from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and a PhD in “Law, Market and Person” (International Law) from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice​

The goal of the admissions procedure is to confirm a candidate’s eligibility to enrol in the International Master International Business and Corporate Law. Academic background, prior experiences in the Master’s programme themes, and motivation will all be considered while evaluating candidates. Following submission, the application will be reviewed by the academic committee of the Rome Business School. All relevant papers must be included in order for the application to be accepted.
