Rome Business School is an international business school founded in Rome in 2011. It offers Master’s programs, MBAs and Executive Master’s programs in both on-campus and online formats. Since 2019 it has been part of Planeta Formación y Universidades, the educational network of Grupo Planeta and De Agostini. Students who complete the program receive the Rome Business School diploma and the certification of the Universidad Internacional de Valencia, academic partner of Rome Business School, with 60 ECTS credits.

Once you complete your programme, you’ll receive your diploma at the Graduation Ceremony held every year in Rome. If your master’s includes a double degree with VIU, the second degree is issued by VIU. For certificates or copies, contact the Graduation Team.

The tuition fee covers classes in the classroom or on the online platform, study materials and Career Center services, including individual career counseling, mentoring and meetings with partner companies. Many programs also include practical workshops with companies and an experiential bootcamp at no additional cost.
The tuition fee can be paid by bank transfer, card or direct debit through card (only for the installments). Details are communicated by the admissions team at the time of enrollment.

You fill out the online form and attach your CV in English; depending on the program, additional documents may be required. Applying is free. All steps are described in the Rome Business School admission process.
The minimum requirement is a bachelor’s degree (laurea triennale). However, for some programs, the Committee may consider applicants without a degree who have a particularly relevant professional background.
For Master’s programs, no: a bachelor’s degree is sufficient. For the International MBA, however, at least 2 years of professional experience are required.
The Academic Committee and the Admissions Team review each application individually. The main factors considered are future potential, motivation, personal qualities and academic background.
The first response arrives within 3 working days of submitting the application. If the profile passes screening, the candidate receives a phone call to schedule the interview. The final decision is communicated by email within 2–5 working days of the interview.
Places are limited, so it is advisable to start the selection process 2–3 months before the course begins. Applicants who need a student visa should apply as early as possible.
Yes. The selection is specific to the intake you applied for, so you may resubmit your application for the following intake.

How the interview works and how to prepare for it.
The interview lasts 30–45 minutes and is conducted by a Program Coordinator, by phone or video call. Good audio quality is important, so headphones and a microphone are required.
There is no fixed list of questions; every interview is different. The main focus is on professional goals, so it is helpful to arrive with a clear idea of where you want to take your career. You are also encouraged to prepare questions about the program: the interviewers are trained to answer them.

The main difference is the study format. On-campus Master’s programs are taught in the classroom at the Rome campus. Online Master’s programs combine live-streamed classes and recorded lectures available on demand.
Exams are conducted entirely on the Blackboard platform and may consist of tests or assignments, following the official schedule shared by the program coordinator.
Yes, many Rome Business School students do. Those who work full-time may consider the online Master’s programs or the Executive Master’s programs, designed for working professionals. To get the most out of the program, active participation in classes is still strongly recommended.

It depends on your nationality. Citizens of the European Union, the European Economic Area and Switzerland do not need one. All other students must apply for a student visa at the Italian embassy or consulate in their country of residence, following the requirements published on the Italian visa portal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Yes. Once enrollment is complete, Student Services will provide all the documents needed for the student visa application. Students are responsible for keeping Student Services informed throughout the visa process
In addition to the documentation issued by the Rome Business School, the embassy requires: a national visa application form (type D), a recent passport-sized photograph, a valid passport, proof of admission or enrollment, a pre-enrollment receipt, proof of sufficient financial means, proof of accommodation and health insurance. Applications should be submitted well in advance and with a complete file.
Non-EU students must apply for a study residence permit (permesso di soggiorno per studio) within 8 working days of arrival, using the kit available at post offices with Sportello Amico service. A tax identification number (codice fiscale) is also required — it is free to obtain at the Agenzia delle Entrate and is needed to open a bank account or sign a rental contract.
Yes, part-time: up to 20 hours per week, for a maximum of 1,040 hours per year.
