Executive Master in Arts and Culture Management’s Overview

The Executive Master in Art Management is an advanced training programme offered by Rome Business School for art professionals and enthusiasts who wish to acquire specific management skills in the art sector. The programme is taught in Italian and is delivered in-person in Rome, Italy, providing students with a hands-on, immersive experience in one of the world’s most vibrant cultural capitals. During the course, students will gain an in-depth understanding of key aspects of art management, including cultural marketing, financial management, arts legislation, exhibition management, art heritage valorisation, and strategic planning in the context of art.

Francesca Chialà boasts over 20 years of interdisciplinary professional experience, integrating managerial consulting, innovation, communication, and the arts. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma and a DocuFilm Director for RAI. Francesca holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from Sapienza University of Rome and a postgraduate specialization in Communication from S3-Studium, along with an International Certification in Business Coaching (WABC).

She holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi, a piano diploma with top honors from Conservatorio G.B. Martini, and has studied at Mozarteum Salzburg and Cambridge. She has directed the Young Artist Program at Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, coached for Opéra Comique and Opera for Peace, and served as juror at the Metropolitan Opera's Laffont Competition, contributing to projects under UNESCO and Teatro alla Scala.

Dr. Patrizia Piergiovanni has over 28 years of experience in Art History, specializing in Renaissance and Baroque collecting. She serves as Director and Curator of the Art Collections at Palazzo Colonna in Rome. A graduate in Art History from Sapienza University of Rome, she has over 15 years of academic teaching experience at institutions including Bocconi University and Rome Business School. Her work includes international collaborations with museums, contributions to scientific publications, curation of major art catalogues and management of prestigious art archives.

Giulia Centonze Professor of the International Master in Arts and Culture Management

Giulia Centonze is a Junior Specialist in Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christie’s Rome, where she is responsible for client management, pricing, valuations, and auction catalogue production. She holds an M.Sc. in Management for Arts, Culture, Media and Entertainment from Bocconi University, including an exchange program at Aalto University in Helsinki. Her experience spans art cataloguing, client management, and art market research at Christie’s, Nextam Partners, and private collections. She also holds professional certifications, including the DELF and the Zertifikat Deutsch.

Alessandro Zucconi Professor of the International Master in Food and Beverage Management

Alessandro Zucconi is a professor of Digital Tourism at the University of Rome Tor Vergata and a hospitality professional with over 28 years of experience. A graduate in Languages from La Sapienza, he teaches Anthropology of Taste and Behavioural Approaches in Tourism at Fondazione ITS Turismo. A former General Manager of Hotel Grifo, he has collaborated with Regione Lazio, DMOs, and multinational platforms such as Venere.com. His research focuses on digital tourism, intercultural communication, and sustainable development aligned with the UN 2030 Agenda.

Agnese Angelini is a Creative Project Manager and Brand Designer with over 30 years of experience specialising in sustainable and ethical business practices. She lectures at Rome Business School and RUFA, teaching Ethics in Branding, Strategic Branding, and Sustainable Fashion. She holds a degree and master's in Graphic Design from Enrico Cogno & Associati Design School and has also taught at the Florence Institute of Design and Polimoda. Her career includes leadership roles at FutureBrand, Landor Associates, and Saatchi & Saatchi, with contributions to global brands such as Juventus, Mazda, and Poste Italiane. Simona Manzoni Director of Marketing and Promotion Office at Teatro Olimpico

For 13 years, she has been the Director of Marketing and Promotion Office at the Teatro Olimpico. She has 14 years of experience as a Manager of Marketing Services and Direct Sales at Italiatour S.p.A., an Alitalia group company, and later became its CEO. She has also served as the Director of Marketing, Development, and External Relations at the Fondazione Romaeuropa and as the Event Director at Expoglobe SRL.
