The CAPM® Certification Preparation Course is a 31-hour intensive program offered online/on-campus and taught in English and Italian. It is designed for those who wish to develop the necessary knowledge to take and pass the Project Management Institute® exam, providing the required contact hours. The goal is to obtain the CAPM® professional certification for entry-level roles in Project Management.
This 31-hour course aims to develop the necessary knowledge to pass the Project Management Institute®’s CAPM® certification exam. The course references the topics included in the Examination Content Outline, published by the Project Management Institute®, which describes the 10 knowledge areas, structured by process groups, of the Project Management standard. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive recognition for the 23 Contact hours required for exam admission.
This course is aimed at high school graduates or recent university graduates who, while not having project management experience, intend to start a career in this field. It is also suitable for anyone intending to work professionally on projects and demonstrate their knowledge of international project management standards. Acquiring this certification, in fact, proves possession of knowledge regarding the principles and terminology contained in the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge® (PMBOK® Guide), which are the project management standards universally recognized as best practices. Furthermore, possessing the certification, combined with the experience that each individual can gain “in the field,” helps to increase the level of competence in project management practice, while also benefiting from the high level of credibility provided by holding PMI® certified credentials.
To be eligible to take the certification exam, candidates must meet certain minimum requirements. These include an educational qualification no lower than a high school diploma, a certain number of hours of activity in project management, or attendance at a preparation course such as the one presented here—all of which can be verified on the PMI® website.
