Stefano Orfei, graduated in Political Science at the “La Sapienza” University of Rome. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP®/PMI®) and a member of the PMI® Rome Italy Chapter. He started his professional career in the field of marketing, and since 1998 has been dealing with consultancy and managerial training.
In the last 13 years, he was involved in training projects both in domestic and International environments. He was project manager in a large consulting organization (Telecom Italia Learning Services), and in charge of designing and delivering even complex training projects. Among his most successful projects were the planning and the management of 11 Learning Tours.
These were study visits, for the benefit of top and middle management, especially focused on sharing best practices and ideas for innovation, for the customer care and the sales departments. Most of the visits were held to private companies based abroad (France, Spain, Tunisia, UK). Recently, while on a two-year assignment in Bucharest (Romania), he led an international team on a couple of strategic projects (co-financed with the European Structural Funds) on Quality in Education.
For the HR directors of a Tunisian telecom company , he also contributed to arrange and deliver a team-building session in Tunisia. Today, he is a lecturer on managerial topics such as project, risk, quality and change management as well as marketing. He can speak English and French.
