Business Analysis is the application of knowledge, competencies, tools, and techniques to frame business issues and identify business needs; identify and suggest possible solutions to meet those needs; elicit, document, and manage stakeholder requirements to achieve project objectives; and facilitate project or programme product, service, or result realization. The course is aimed at enabling participants to acquire the knowledge of business analysis activities, of the business analyst’s role and responsibilities, of business evaluation, of requirement elicitation and analysis, of a business solution proposal and evaluation, of traceability, and of monitoring. On completion of the course, participants will have knowledge of the various tasks needed for business analysis; of how to elicit and analyse requirements through the use of various models, diagrams and tables; of how to propose the most viable solution to be submitted for realisation to the developers; and of how to ensure compliance with requirements and the alignment of the latter with the business objectives.
