Valerio Mancini

Analyst expert in international relations.

He worked as a fellow for the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI), as a consultant for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC); he also collaborated with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and was an operational support officer at the Maritime Analysis and Operations Centre (Narcotics) – MAOC (N).

He was an assistant to Minister Plenipotentiary at the Permanent Representation of Italy to the OECD in Paris and he has volunteered for various NGO’s and Foundations oriented towards the implementation of social projects related to crime prevention and human rights protection in Latin America.

He worked as a fundraiser with the Youth Committee of the Italian National Commission for UNESCO and was Co-founder of the association BluAction.org (linked with the UN SDGs).

He participated in the creation of “L’AIK”, a network of companies involved in fundraising activity and developing projects for the public sector and SMEs based in the earthquake crater of Abruzzo and, as an export manager, he participated in numerous business missions abroad.

He currently supports the activities of the International Academy for Security and Defense – MASTERY and was recently appointed Head of the Trans-national Crime Department at MISAP – Multidisciplinary Institute for Security Management and Antisociality Prevention.
