  • Capstone Project:  Human Resources Plan

A team project aimed to develop a Human Resources plan designed to resolve a business problem in the area of human resources, of an existing or fictitious company in the HR industry. All teams are given guidance from the initial phase of the project. At the end of the capstone project, teams are required to prepare a written report and a verbal presentation which teams present in front of the Academic Committee.

After the completion of the capstone project, students should be able to:

Methodology

The Master will be taught through interactive lectures, case study analysis, in-class exercises, discussions, roleplays, teamwork exercises, video discussions, business analysis and student presentation sessions.

Case studies will be utilized to engender discussion and illustrate real business and communication issues. Students will be encouraged to read widely and engage in discussion and debate. The didactic methodology is based on action learning, through which teachers implement a learner-centered approach, engage students and provide activities which allow students to apply the acquired knowledge. All teachers use active learning methods in class, which are also suitable for interactively engaging distance learning students.

She has worked for companies like: DELL as an HR Recruiter, for Fasken Martineau DuMoulin as an HR Recruiter and for 7 years in NV Consulting Services. Having a culturally-diverse mentality has helped her to understand and interact better with employees, students and professionals. Natasha has notable experience in recruitment, employment law compliance and career coaching. Natasha holds a Diploma in Human Resources Administration from Seneca College (Toronto, Canada) and in addition certification from AIRS in CIR (Certified Internet Recruiter) and CSSR (Certified Social Sourcing Recruiter) in London, UK. Natasha also participates as a Guest Speaker for local universities in Rome on subjects such as Sexual Harassment and Bias in the workforce. As a Consultant, Natasha also spends time guiding HR Directors or Senior level managers on HR policies, procedures and HR trends. She also is committed to personal development through her services as a resume writer, job search strategist and personal branding for professionals and graduate students.

LOTTA ANNA RASMUSSON RAIBLE – a Human Resources professional with several yearsof international experience in Human Resources Development, including seven years in a managerial capacity with a variety of organizations with multiple locations. Ms Rasmusson has a Master’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration (cum laude) from the Libera Universita Internazionale degli Studi Sociali in Rome, Italy. Worked in the Human Resources Division of the United Nations World Food Programme in Rome, Italy and for the Human Resources Division of the Swedish International Development Authority in Stockholm, Sweden. Was the Human Resources Manager at the International Plant Genetics Resources Institute at its Rome Headquarters for seven years and was responsible for the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures, and for overseeing the management of human resources for the institute and its employees. Lotta is a Swedish citizen, but has lived most of her life abroad in India, Poland, Kenya, Singapore and Italy. She is fluent in Swedish, English, and Italian and has a good knowledge of French and German

MARSHALL LANGER – A native of Miami, Florida, Marshall received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and has additionally taken extensive graduate coursework in counselling psychology at New York University. At Rome Business School Marshall teaches Human Resource Management and Marketing Management classes. Marshall enjoyed a 12-year career in diverse business and finance sectors in the U.S. and Europe. He has worked on Wall Street on investment banking and risk arbitrage for firms like Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette as well as in trading for BNP Paribas. He further worked in the areas of corporate management, marketing strategy, management consulting, and real estate. Before joining RBS, Marshall has taught at New York University’s Stern School of Business, Fordham University, University of Connecticut, Luiss University, The American University of Rome, Loyola University Chicago Rome Campus, CEA,

ANDREA MONTUSCHI– Andrea is a shareholder, partner and Board President of Great Place to Work Italy. With over 20 years of experience in the field of HR consulting and organisational climate, Andrea’s main areas of expertise revolve around measurement tools (survey design, management and interpretation) and consulting (qualitative in-depth analysis and action planning). He spent the first years of his career between London and Paris, moving back to his home country, Italy, in 2003. Over the last decade Andrea has cultivated an interest for creativity and innovation, becoming an experienced facilitator of Creative Problem Solving and Lego® Serious Play®, among other techniques. Andrea is also an energetic and engaging public speaker, who enjoys combining his creativity background with improvisational theatre, a hobby he’s had for over a decade. In the past he volunteered as a hospital clown for some years and still likes to carry a red nose in his pocket – and in his work.

The tuition fee for this Master is 5.900 euros (VAT included) the payment of the participation fee is installable.

It can be paid:

  • in a single solution (this option grants the student a 10% discount on the overall amount of the tuition fee)

According to the individual profile, experience, and proved motivation, the candidate can be awarded a scholarship covering part of the overall tuition fee (up to 20%). Indeed, Rome Business School offers the opportunity to the most deserving candidates to benefit from 5 different types of scholarships. These partial economic coverages can consist of 6 months of interest-free financing.

The admission process is aimed to verify the candidate’s eligibility to attend the Master. The candidate’s academic history, previous experiences in the topics covered in the Master and motivation will be matters of the evaluation. Once it’s sent, the application will be evaluated by the Rome Business School’s academic committee. In order to ensure the application’s suitability, it is important to deliver all of the required documentation.
