The new book of Professor Antonio Cocozza

The Professor Antonio Cocozza, has recently published this book on Human Resources, in which he exposes the passage of the figure of the collaborator from “cost” to “strategic resource”.
The manual intends to better understand the interactions between business communicaton policies and those regarding the human resources management, which both are aimed at enhancing and motivate employees.
In the globalization process of the current Knowledge Society, the real competitive advantage among companies and national systems, is no longer provided by the mere raw materials and/or technologies dissemination availability , but it is provided rather by the human capital contribution , knowledge quality and skills of people working in innovative companies and virtuous public administrations. In fact, as a result of the deep changes taking place, which have led to the affirmation of innovative organizational models and new management culture, the employee is no longer considered a simple “cost”, but he becomes a “strategic resource” essential to the creation of Shared value for all the stakeholders.

In this new scenario, the manual intends to provide a systemic and interdisciplinary key to understanding the analyzed phenomena, which is useful to better understand the interactions between the search for constant improvement of the overall results of the company and the contribution to this objective that can provide targeted and strategically oriented company communication policies and the human resources management policies, aimed at enhancing and motivate employees.
These particularly significant processes of change that, precisely because they accrued in a situation of structural crisis, they lead academics and managers of te most advanced organizational realities to question and reflect on the new economic role played by the “social embedded” and by the Public policies in support of a glocal development, attentive to the social dimension and to the dimension of the environmentally friendly development.

Similarly, in terms of collective regulation of job relations and about the possible new role of industrial relations, in the light of the positive results at the international level, the book emphasizes the need to rethink and relaunch the participatory model in the Italian and European experience.
